Tisza Lake Cup

Greetings

Welcome on the website of Tisza Lake Cup. The prior aim of this ultimate event is to combine frisbee with the joys of a seaside vacation, and to provide teams from the Eastern European region with an enjoyable, informal opportunity to compete on sand during the summer. We hope the participants will bring their friends and family members to show them the beauty and spirit of ultimate. We are awaiting registrations from Hungary and the neighboring countries, all levels from beginners to professionals are welcome. If you and your friends want to participate in a real beach ultimate competition in the middle of the summer, read the below summary and follow the instructions under registration subtitle.

Boat adventure

Thanks to our agreement with the beach head office the participation fees include a 30-minute boat cruise around the island near Tiszafüred, during which a tour guide tells interesting facts about the local wildlife.

Registration

The registration is open from 25 February to 30 June and any team can apply on the tourney’s Ultimate Central platform.

The registrations are accepted in submission order. In case the number of registered teams exceeds 12 the new applicants will be placed on waiting list.

Payment

We only accept wire transfer, that is the fees are payable to our bank account in advance until 17 July. (This date equals to the team roster submission deadline.) In case your team requires TLC catering and/or TLC accommodation (see below in details) your team must pay the food and accommodation price along with the players fee.

Location

The tournament will take place on the sandy field of the beach of Tiszafüred which is located close to Lake Tisza shown on the tournament map. The recommended accommodation, Albatros Camping is about 400 meters from the entrance of the beach.

Accommodation

The participants can book their accomodation in Albatros Camping right next to Tiszafüred Beach. If your team is looking for a bit more convinient accommodation you can find other opportunities online (e.g. booking.com). Please take note that you have to organize the booking for yourself and you have to discuss the payment conditions with the service provider.

Catering

We are under negotiation with the service provider. Once we have the offer we will publish the menu and prices. You have to indicate your team’s needs by sending the information to freebees.debrecen@gmail.com along with the roster and you have to pay the food price with the players fee until 17 July.
